Dash Addario's Campaign
Our family is going through one of the most challenging seasons of our lives, and we’re asking for help with humility and honesty. A few months ago, our youngest son, Dash (9), was diagnosed with Juvenile Dermatomyositis—a rare autoimmune disease that left him in a wheelchair for several weeks. While he is now improving and we are incredibly grateful, his journey is far from over and requires ongoing treatments, appointments, and care, with no cure. At the same time, our family has faced additional health and financial challenges, including a recent hospitalization that impacted our ability to maintain consistent income.
We are a family of seven doing our best to stay strong for our children during this time. We are actively working to restructure our finances and make responsible long-term decisions for our family, but right now we are in a gap that we cannot bridge alone. Funds raised will go directly toward medical-related expenses and ongoing treatments for Dash, travel and care associated with his condition, and immediate family living expenses during this transition period.
We are committed to being transparent and responsible with any support we receive. If you are able to help in any way—whether through giving or sharing—our family is deeply grateful. Thank you for standing with us during this time.
